I’m happy I’ve finally purchased your book and so seemingly synchronistic and strange I picked up the chapter on The Well from the Kindle. I just named my Substack Inner Well because that’s what I’m planning to write about right now. It’s something I’ve been thinking about since beginning to do iChing readings.
The Well was the first iChing hexagram I ever drew. I thought there was a reason at the time. I’m superstitious that way. I’ve been fascinated with the imagery ever since that time as well as portals and tunnels. Don’t know where they’re going to lead me. But, it feels like a good place to start — the source that sustains me.
So, I’m eager to see what a Jungian has to say about The Well and its symbolism. Maybe there’s some connection. We’ll see.
Thank you for explaining your intended audience for the workshop. Clearly, it’s not for me. I’m still a beginner, a baby swimming in the depths of uncharted waters with eyes wide open. I feel like a fool trying on pairs of shoes to see what pair best fits. I still think I’ll enjoy reading your book at whatever level I can comprehend at this time.
