Big week friends. My book Psychedelics and the Soul: A Mythic Guide to Psychedelic Healing, Depth Psychology, and Cultural Repair has finally hit the shelves!
So many people have reached out to let me know that the book has already arrived on their doorstep, and that they are well on their way through its pages. For a new author, there are few better things to hear.
If you’d like to order a copy, you can do so here, or wherever you like to get your books.
A little personal life update as well: I just moved out to the country with my partner, on to a small parcel of land, next to some friends. I’m still absorbing the blessing of this moment, of waking up to the sudden manifestation of what many people describe as “the dream.”
Portland has been the only true home I’ve ever known, and I suspect it will always remain so in many ways. But I feel compelled to steer my life in a different direction at this point. I needed to make a massive change. I’m sure I’ll be sharing more about this in a future post. But for now, all I can say is that I’m grateful.
Two final things for my local PNW friends: This Sunday (10/6) I’m speaking at the Portland Psychedelic Society Symposium. If you want a discounted ticket, just enter the code SIMON2024.
And, my official book launch is happening on Sunday, 10/20 at Powell’s Books. Afterparty to follow. Come through.
Now, on to Part II…
